2025-2026 ENROLLED STUDENTS NEEDING A TOUR

If you are currently enrolled or planning on being enrolled in the 2025-2026 school year, and have not received a tour, parents and students can join us on Monday, August 18, 2025 from 6:00 – 7:00 pm OR on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 from 8:30 – 9:30 am to review the campus. Again, this tour is only for ENROLLED students. This is NOT for families that are shopping as you can sign up for a tour during the school year.

Important Dates

2025-2026 MUSTANG ROUND-UP (FRESHMAN ONLY)

Wednesday, August 6, 2025, 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM

Join us on Wednesday, August 6th at Myers Park High School to reconnect with old friends and meet other Myers Park students before school starts! There will be a quick session to hear from Myers Park sports teams and clubs, a tour of campus, fun activities, food, and a t-shirt.

2025-2026 OPEN CAMPUS

Thursday, August 21, 2025, 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM

All MPHS students and their parents are invited to walk the campus in order of their class schedule, meet
their teachers, and grab some Myers Park Swag before the first day of school! The front office will be
closed and no new registrations taken during this time. There are three 40-minute slots by last name. If
you have a conflict, you may attend any time slot:

  • 4:30 – 5:00 PM: Last name A to I
  • 5:00 – 5:30 PM: Last name J to R
  • 5:30 – 6:00 PM: Last Name S to Z

CMS is moving to a new education platform over the summer to replace Powerschool. More
information will be forthcoming regarding student schedules. Printed student schedules will be available
at Open House for those in need. MPHS will continue to utilize Parent Square and the PTSO Mustang
Express is one of the primary parent communication tools.

When you arrive to MPHS:

  1. Parking:  Campus Map and Parking Guideline PDF.
  2. Look for tables set up in the front circle, the back parking lot off Runnymede or in the Quad to pick up the MPHS 411 flyer & an MPHS Campus Map!
  3. During the event, use the map to walk your Semester 1 schedule in order from START to FINISH. Go to Homeroom first, then Block 1, Block 2, Block 3, and Block 4. If you have A-Day/B-Day classes, be sure to visit both!
  4. Find your classroom inside each building. Meet your teacher!
  5. Bring a credit card or cash: Kona Ice and The Taco Truck will be in the front circle. MPHS SWAG Wagon will be selling gear in the quad.
  6. For assistance with translation for families, go to the front circle.

2026-2027 RISING 9TH GRADERS / NEW-TO-CMS NIGHT

Tuesday, February 10, 2026, 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM
Myers Park High School, 2400 Colony Road.

Rising 9th graders, students new-to-CMS, transfer students, and their parents are invited to join us at MPHS! You do not need to sign-up, just show up!

5:30-6:00 pm – Visit interest tables in the Quad, just outside of the Auditorium!
6:00-7:00 pm – Auditorium Program:

  • A visit from JROTCH
  • Listen to the MPHS Choir
  • Watch the MPHS Dance team
  • Hear an informative overview of our academic and program opportunities from administration
  • Learn from our MPHS students
  • Get up to speed on registration information

Plus, shop at the MPHS Swag Wagon! Get your MP gear! It will be in the Quad and open both before and after the event for shopping! You can also place orders in advance and pick them up that night. . Credit card and Apple Pay are accepted. No cash.

Allow extra time to park so that you have ample time to get to the quad. Event is rain or shine. Please note that this is NOT a tour of the school!  

Do You Need a Peer Buddy?

Get to know MPHS better! Get more involved! Meet new friends! The Student Government Association (SGA) of MPHS will pair you with a peer buddy, either a rising junior or senior at MP and they will be happy to answer any questions you have about MP or high school in general. Athletic Information

  • Monday, June 30, 2025 – Friday, July 4, 2025 and Monday, July 21, 2025 – Friday, July 25, 2025– Sports Dead Periods (no workouts).
  • Wednesday, July 30 & 31, 2025 – Fall Sports Tryouts. Summer workouts & tryout information will be posted on team pages on MPHS Athletic Zone. Student athletes will need to complete all eligibility paperwork in DragonFly by July 18th. Fall sports: Cheerleading, Cross Country, Field Hockey, Football, Women’s Golf, Men’s Soccer, Women’s Tennis, and Women’s Volleyball.
  • Wednesday, October 29, 2025 – Winter Tryouts. Basketball, Indoor Track, Swimming and Diving, Wrestling.
  • February 2026 – Spring Tryouts. Baseball, Men’s Golf, Lacrosse, Women’s Soccer, Softball, Men’s Tennis, Track, Men’s Volleyball.
  • Monday, June 29, 2026 – Sunday, July 5, 2026 and Monday, July 20, 2026 – Sunday, July 26, 2026– Sports Dead Periods (no workouts).
